Assuming the weather is nice we will be having a kite party at New Brighton Park.

We plan on meeting at one of the picnic tables near the playground (see the green marker below):

We know that parking can sometimes be difficult. There are a number of different choices. From North Vancouver, take the Second Narrows Bridge, then the easiest is if you take the McGill Street exit (first exit after the bridge) and follow the green line in the map below:

You will first come to the parking lot marked (C) in the above map. This one is a bit of a walk from where we will be meeting. If you turn right on Commissionaire Street, then turn left just before the control booths you will get to the main access road. There is usually parking along the road (noted as (A) in the map above) or in the parking lot marked (B) in the above map.

An alternate parking lot is available that always has space is marked as (D) in the above map. You have to follow the red path in the map to get to it. You take the same exit, but rather than turning onto McGill you go towards Hastings and turn right at the intersection before Hastings onto Bridgeway, follow this to a stop sign and turn right to go underneath the McGill exit and the parking lot is on your left.
